9 Bach Flower Essences for Pregnancy and Birth

Did you know that Bach Flowers are safe to use during pregnancy (and post)? Not all pregnancies are unicorns and rainbows. Some women experience a variety of physical ailments and mental and emotional thoughts that for some, can be quite crippling. Bach Flowers are very gentle, safe, and very effective in managing various emotions during the various stages of pregnancy.
Here are some Bach flower remedies that are sometimes considered for use during pregnancy and post-pregnancy:
Mimulus: This remedy is used for known fears, anxieties, or worries about childbirth, pregnancy, or the future. It can help those who are fearful about specific things or events during their pregnancy.
Elm: If you feel doubtful about your ability to cope, feeling suddenly overwhelmed with responsibility.
Aspen: If you have unexplained anxiety or feelings of apprehension during your pregnancy.
Cherry Plum: For those who fear losing control or fear they might harm themselves or their baby due to emotional distress or anxiety.
Rock Rose: Useful for intense feelings of fear, panic, and terror. It can be used for moments of crisis or extreme stress.
Agrimony: If you're hiding your true feelings and putting on a brave face during pregnancy, Agrimony might help you express and deal with your inner turmoil.
Walnut: This remedy is often used during times of change and childbirth, including pregnancy. It can help you adapt to the new situation and protect against outside influences.
Star of Bethlehem: Is a flower for comfort, especially if the pregnancy or birth is stressful and/or traumatic in any way.
